William Mitchell (physicist)

Sir Edgar William John Mitchell, CBE, FRS[1] (September 25, 1925 – October 30, 2002) was a professor of physics at Oxford, and helped pioneer the field of neutron scattering.[2]

Born in Kingsbridge, Devon, England, Mitchell was also a member of the SEPP Board of Science Advisors.
